Beyond limited prototyping or a pilot run of twenty or more systems, EDGE does not manufacture its own designs. However, we understand the importance of the design transfer to manufacturing to successfully move products into the market. We have established focused, strategic relationships in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Contract Manufacturing (CM), and medical device and single use disposable manufacturing.
For EMS and Contract Manufacturing, we have partnerships with Bulova Technologies, LLC, Harvard Custom Manufacturing and Genie Electronics. For medical related design transfer to manufacturing, we work with our vested partner Precision Medical Products, and partners Ethox International and Evolve Manufacturing. For Lab Instrumentation, we work with KMC Systems. Production ranges from small system runs of under 100/year (requiring extensive use of simple tooling and fabrication) to high volume runs of thousands of units for disposable devices, requiring high levels of tooling.
